FBI Unique Agent Olivia Dunham is the most essential character in
the Tv series – Fringe Seasons 1-4 DVD Box Set. She is thirty years old
worker of the specific "Fringe" department of US Department of
Homeland Security. The unit works on event including unusual and mysterious
phenomena. These situations are described as "The Pattern" and are
primary part of the plot.
As a child, Olivia Dunham was
associated with one of William Bel`s tests with kids; the children were shot
with the medication Cortexiphanin order to improve their capabilities. This
later brings about unleashing Olivia`s capability to take a trip between the
two diverse universes. Olivia's stepfather was violent and she shot him in
self-protection condition.
In the starting of the show,
she is in a partnership with John Scott (her colleague), who later passes away
in an incident; the incident is "Pattern"- connected.
Olivia is near to Rachel and
Ella (the first one becoming her sister and the second her niece), since they
are Olivia`s only family members in existence. To be able to preserve our
universe, and respectively her sister and niece, Olivia is greatly decided in
her traversing between the two worlds and she desires to attain effects. In the
end of season two she was deceived by her counterpart who was able to exchange

Peter Bishop is the son of the
scientist Walter Bishop and has an I. Q. of 190; also, Peter is a college
drop-out. This character plays significant role in the plot. He arises from an
alternative universe and is the genuine son of Walter Bishop`s counterpart -
Walternate. As a kid, Peter is abducted by Walter, whose own Peter passes away
in an crash. Bishop`s disinclination to conciliate with his son`s death had
been so powerful that the scientist created a way to take a trip between the
universes. Walter, actually, stole the other Peter and helped bring him back to
our universe. When reality comes to surface, Peter is extremely affected and
accuses Walter for his activities, which Peter thinks have resulted in the
suicide of Peter`s mother. This happens when the partnership between Walter and
Peter is starting to strengthen, after 17 years of splitting up. This makes a
contribution to Peter`s determination to be a part of Walternate and adventures
to the other universe, an action which almost had devastating consequences.
Lastly, Peter chooses to return to our universe with Walter, certainly
forgiving him.
Doctor Walter Bishop performs a
significant role in the show. He is partially conscientious for some of the
"Pattern"- connected cases. As a result of the previously mentioned
act of hopelessness and the abduction of the other Peter, Walter is later
